Salish Sea Lighthouses

Mukilteo Lighthouse

Built in 1906 this lighthouse has a fourth order fresnel lens that is in use today. The lighthouse is maintained by the City of Mukilteo Parks Department.

Point No Point Lighthouse

Built in 1880 this lighthouse stands 23 highs that is in use today. It is located in Hansville and managed by the Kitsap County Parks Department.

Marrowstone Light

Located at Fort Flagler State Park on Marrowstone Island this is only a light but has a beautiful Keeper's House.

Brown's Point

Brown's Point Lighthouse

Built in 1930, this lighthouse stands 20 high that is in use today. It is located in Federal Way and is managed by the Pierce County Metro Parks Department.

Point Robinson

Point Robinson Lighthouse

Located on Vashon Island, Maury Island overlooking Puget Sound. It was built in 1915 with a height of 40 feet.

Bush Point Light

Located on Whidbey Island, Bush Point Light is a simple structure that is 25 feet tall and was built in 1933.

Alki Lighthouse

Located on Alki Point in West Seattle, this lighthouse was built in 1913.

West Point Lighthouse

Located at Discovery Park in Seattle, WA, this lighthouse is maintained by the Seattle Parks & Recreation. It was built in 1881.

Skunk Bay Lighthouse

Located on near Hansville, this lighthouse is U.S. Coast Guard approved although it was privately built.

This area includes the Puget Sound. For boundaries, we will draw an imaginary line from Point Wilson Lighthouse to Admiralty Head Lighthouse. This marks the beginning of what was known as Admiralty Inlet and the approach to the Puget Sound.
