Additional Information

Although this is not a lighthouse, it is a prominent shore aid marking the entrance to Port Townsend Bay. Prior to this all steel shore aid, there was a small white building with a flashing red light on it. (See photo below).

The vertical structures near the light are purple martin bird houses/nests.

Interesting note: Point Hudson was the site of a Coast Guard Training Center.
