Admiralty Head Lighthouse
Located at Fort Casey State Park on Whidbey Island, this lighthouse sits atop a bluff overlooking Admiralty Inlet.
Point Wilson Lighthouse
Located at Fort Worden State Park near Port Townsend, this lighthouse sits at the edge of the Straits of Juan de Fuca and the Puget Sound...all known as the Salish Sea.
New Dungeness Lighthouse
Located north of Sequim on Dungeness Spit, This lighthouse has been beautifully restored. It is a 5.5 mile hike or if you're lucky you can spend a week there as a keeper.
Lime Kiln Lighthouse
Beautifully located on the west side of San Juan Island, ideal location for orca whale watching.
Cattle Point Light
Cattle Point light is located on the southern most tip of San Juan Island overlooking the Straits of Juan de Fuca. It resides on Bureau of Land Management land and is part of the San Juan Islands National Monument.
Turn Point Lighthouse
Turn Point Lighthouse is located on Haro Strait in the the San Juan Islands. The light is part of the San Juan Islands National Monument.
Patos Island Lighthouse
Patos Island Lighthouse stands at 35 feet and is found in the San Juan Islands. The light is part of the San Juan Islands National Monument.
Port Townsend Lighthouse
This is a private residence and not an active lighthouse in Port Townsend. The structure is 50 tall and was built in 1990.
Marrowstone Point Light
Located at Fort Flagler State Park south of Port Townsend on Marrowstone Island, this is a light with a beautiful keeper's house that the National Fisheries service uses.
Cape Flattery Lighthouse
Cape Flattery is the most northwestern location in the United States. It is inaccessible to the public sitting atop Tatoosh Island.
Point Hudson Light
Marking the entrance of Port Townsend Bay, south of Point Wilson, you will find a shore aid. While it is not a lighthouse, it marks a prominent point.
Burrow's Island Lighthouse
Located near Anacortes, WA overlooking Rosario Strait, this lighthouse was built in 1906 and is 57 feet high.
Lighthouses in the Northern Salish Sea
This area includes the Straits of Juan de Fuca and the San Juan Islands. For boundaries, we will draw an imaginary line from Marrowstone Point Light to Admiralty Head Lighthouse. Smith Island Lighthouse - Destroyed
Smith Island can be found between Port Townsend and the San Juan Islands. The lighthouse was destroyed by erosion in 1989.
