Fresnel Lens History

The current light at Point No Point is an automated VRB 25 acrylic lens. The original lens was installed in February 1880 and was a fifth order Fresnel lens. It was replaced with a fourth order Fresnel lens in 1915. The original fifth order lens was transferred to Point Robinson lighthouse on Vashon Island.
