Other Information

Located half way between Cape Flattery and Ediz Hook, Slip Point was lit in 1905. Originally a lens lantern was displayed on the fog signal building. By 1916 a tower had been added to house a 4th Order lens. The Keeper’s Dwelling was located within the bay and connected to the light by a long raised catwalk. The lighthouse was dismantled and replaced by an automated light and sound signal in 1951. Due to continual land slides, these were eventually replaced by a buoy just off shore.

The lighthouse was removed in 2000. Keeper’s House maintained by the Clallam County Parks Department.
